1974 |
The company was founded in Peitou District, Taipei, mainly
in the manufacture of transformers of emergency lights, Hi-Fi
equipments, and telephone exchanges. |
1975 |
A new plant located in Chuwei, Tamsui, was set up to manufacture
electric toys, magnetic coil, core tube and high-voltage gas
igniters for U.S. market. Also included wire coil and core tube
assembly for dry type of solenoid valves. |
1978 |
Reorganized and renamed to Lucence Electrical Co., the company
started the production of gas match and magnetic coil and core
tube assembly for 02 or 03 wet type of solenoid valves. These
products were shipped to various suppliers of hydraulic equipment
such as Yuken Co., Toyooki Co., Northman Co., and Yutien Co.
in Taiwan. |
1985 |
The company was relocated to the current
site and expanded its production to solenoid valves for gas,
air, water, and hydraulic systems, etc. Customers included were
Camel, Daikin, 7 Ocean Co. in Taiwan, and Nachi Fujikoshi Co.
and others in Japan. |
1990 |
The company was reorganized again to become Lucence Precision
Machinery & Electrical Co., Ltd., with paid up capital of
NT$32 millions. The production space and facilities were also
expanded by adding various automated equipment to better serve
the industry. |
1995 |
The company's paid-up capital nearly doubled
to NT$60 millions for the purpose of production expansion. |
1998 |
The company doubled its capital pool to NT$120 millions to
expand production capacities. |
1999 |
The company acquired quality system certification
of ISO 9002. |
2001 |
A second plant was set up to manufacture coil ass'y, box ass'y,
and conduct plastic injection processing. |
2003 |
By installing the Japanese-imported
highly precision machines and inspection equipment, the company
has upgraded the performance under high hydraulic pressure condition
and improved the quality of endurance for core tube ass'y at
its first plant on a full scale implementation. |
